However, there are still some people who still do not comply with the regulations on epidemic prevention and control, causing huge consequences.
Below are violations related to epidemic prevention and punishment that we need to pay attention to so as not to violate.

1. The act of not wearing a mask in public.

3. The act of disposing of used masks, substances and items at the wrong places may cause the spread of Covid-19 disease
– Fine: Warning or fine from 200,000 VND to 500,000 VND.
– Pursuant to: Clause 1, Article 6 of Decree 117/2020/ND-CP.

4. Acts of failing to carry out tests at the request of competent health authorities during Covid-19 disease surveillance:
– Penalty level: A fine from 1,000,000 VND to 3,000,000 VND.
– Pursuant to: Point a, Clause 2, Article 7 of Decree 117/2020/ND-CP.

5. Acts of refusing or evading the application of decisions on medical isolation or forced medical isolation of competent state agencies for people with Covid-19 disease:
– Fine: A fine ranging from VND 15,000,000 to VND 20,000,000.
– Pursuant to: Point b, Clause 2 and Clause 3, Article 11 of Decree 117/2020/ND-CP.

6. Acts of concealing, failing to make medical declarations or failing to promptly declare the status of oneself or others with Covid-19 disease:
– Fine: A fine ranging from VND 10,000,000 to VND 20,000,000.
– Pursuant to: Point a, Clause 3, Article 7 of Decree 117/2020/ND-CP.

7. Acts of failing to comply with the decision to apply the measure of temporarily suspending the operation of a public food service establishment that is at risk of spreading Covid-19:
– Fine: A fine of from VND 10,000,000 to VND 20,000,000 for individuals (from VND 20,000,000 to VND 40,000,000 for organizations).
– Pursuant to: Point a, Clause 3, Article 12 of Decree 117/2020/ND-CP.

8. Acts of failing to implement the decision to apply measures to limit mass gatherings or temporarily suspend business and service activities in public places to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic:
– Fine: A fine of from VND 10,000,000 to VND 20,000,000 for individuals (from VND 20,000,000 to VND 40,000,000 for organizations).
– Pursuant to: Point c, Clause 3, Article 12 of Decree 117/2020/ND-CP.

*Criminal handling: In case the owner of a business establishment, the manager of a service business (such as a bar, karaoke, massage service, beauty salon, gym/yoga/game room, theater, etc.) movie screening…) to conduct business activities when there is a decision to temporarily suspend business activities to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic, causing damage of VND 100,000,000 or more due to incurring disease prevention and control costs. will be sentenced to imprisonment for up to 12 years (Article 295 of the 2015 Penal Code).

9. Acts of obstructing or opposing people on duty to prevent and control Covid-19 epidemic:
+ Penalty level: A fine of from VND 2,000,000 to VND 3,000,000 for individuals (from VND 4,000,000 to VND 6,000,000 for organizations).
+ Bases: Clause 2, Article 20 of Decree 167/2013/ND-CP.

10. Acts of providing false information about the epidemic, slandering, distorting, insulting the reputation of agencies and organizations and the honor and dignity of individuals related to Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control -19:
+ Fine: A fine of from VND 5,000,000 to VND 10,000,000 for individuals (from VND 10,000,000 to VND 20,000,000 for organizations)
+ Bases: Point a, Clause 1 and Clause 3, Article 101 of Decree 15/2020/ND-CP.

*Criminal handling: In case of posting on computer networks, telecommunications networks, fake information, untruthful information, distorting information about the situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, the person may be sentenced to imprisonment for up to 7 years. Article 288 of the Penal Code)

11. Acts of not implementing the decision to ban mass gatherings in areas where a state of emergency has been declared for the Covid-19 epidemic:
– Fine: A fine ranging from VND 30,000,000 to VND 40,000,000 for individuals (from VND 60,000,000 to VND 80,000,000 for organizations).
– Base: Point b, Clause 5, Article 12 of Decree 117/2020/ND-CP.

12. Acts of helping, harboring, concealing and facilitating foreigners to enter Vietnam, stay in Vietnam or cross national borders illegally:
– Fine: A fine of from VND 15,000,000 to VND 25,000,000 for individuals (from VND 30,000,000 to VND 50,000,000 for organizations). Foreigners who commit administrative violations, depending on the seriousness of their violations, may also be subject to the penalty of expulsion from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
– Pursuant to: Point a, Clause 5 and Clause 9, Article 17 of Decree 167/2013/ND-CP.
