Currently, medical examination and treatment at private clinics is no longer strange to each of us. 1. Do practitioners have to list service prices at the clinic?
\nAccording to Clause 3, Article 53 of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment 2009, the responsibilities of medical examination and treatment establishments are as follows:
\n\"Publicize working hours, list service prices and collect according to the listed prices.\"<\/p>\n

Thus, the listing of service prices at the clinic is the responsibility of the practitioner and they are required to comply with this regulation.<\/p>\n

2. How is the service fee not listed at the clinic?<\/p>\n

According to Point b, Clause 1, Article 39 of Decree 117\/2020\/ND-CP stipulating administrative sanctions in the health sector, the act of failing to list or listing incompletely the prices of medical examination and treatment services may be subject to penalties. a fine of from 1,000,000 VND to 3,000,000 VND. In addition, the act of charging medical examination and treatment service fees higher than the listed prices may result in a fine ranging from VND 3,000,000 to VND 5,000,000.<\/p>\n

Therefore, practitioners must list service prices at the clinic fully, openly and transparently, otherwise they may be administratively sanctioned according to the provisions of law. For example, clinic A lists the price of rectal examination at 179,000 VND on the listed price list that is publicly displayed at the aisle of the clinic in accordance with the law. Not only the rectal examination service, all other services of Clinic A must also be publicly listed on the list price list for patients to easily follow.<\/p>\n
