Recently, Vietnamese medicine is developing more and more and has many new breakthroughs. In particular, the issue of tissue and body organ donation after death is receiving much attention and support from the people. In addition to the effectiveness of saving and improving the lives of critically ill patients, this also has a noble and humane meaning for the whole society.
\nAccording to Article 18 of the Law on Donation, collection and transplantation of human tissues and organs and donation and collection of corpses, the procedures for registration of donation of human tissues and organs after death are regulated as follows:
\nRegistration conditions:
\nPersons aged full eighteen years or older with full civil act capacity have the right to donate their own tissues and organs after death.
\nThe application form for donation of human tissues and organs after death is specified in Form No. 3 - Decision No. 07\/2008\/QD-BYT.
\nImplementation process:
\nUpon receiving information of a person who wishes to donate human organs or tissues after death, the medical establishment shall have to notify the National Coordination Center for Human Organ Transplantation.
\nWhen receiving a notice of a donation of human tissues or organs, the National Coordination Center for Human Organ Transplantation is responsible for notifying the medical facility to carry out registration procedures for the donor. give.
\nAfter receiving the notice, the competent medical facility will proceed to:
\n\u2013 Directly meet the donor to advise on information related to donating, taking tissues and organs.
\n- Guidance on registration of donation according to the application form; Perform health checks for donors.
\n- Issue registration cards to donate tissues and organs after death to donors.
\n\u2013 Report the list of registered donors who have been granted registration cards to donate human tissues and organs after death to the National Coordination Center for Human Organ Transplantation.<\/p>\n
The registration of donation of human tissues and organs after death takes effect from the time the registrant is granted a donation registration card.
